We, the administrators, are very sorry for any difficulties that the failure of lowcostholidays may cause you. The following generic information is intended to help you make an informed decision on how to proceed with your travel plans and/or how to process any claims. You should have received an email confirming details which are specific to your booking and if you have not done so please check your spam/junk email folders.
We are keeping this website updated and we suggest you visit this site regularly to be sure you are getting the most up to date advice on the situation. http://www.lowcostholidays.com
IMPORTANT NOTICE: 1 AUGUST 2016
An email has been sent to all lowcostholiday customers that have an existing booking confirming the following:
PLEASE NOTE that following the cessation of trading and the lowcosttravel Group entering administration, the 'manage my booking' facility via http://mmb.lowcostholidays.com will be disabled with effect from 5PM FRIDAY 19 AUGUST 2016
If you have not already accessed the online system to obtain information relating to your booking, please do so before the deadline above and make sure you download copies of all documents relating to your booking. This information will not be available after 19 August 2016.
If the airline confirm that your flight has not been paid for by lowcostholidays, they will be able to confirm whether you are able to secure a new booking; if so you should pay the airline directly. Please note the cost may be different from the amount paid to lowcostholidays for your original booking. Alternatively, you may wish to use another travel agency or intermediary to secure new flights.
If you would like to book new transfers, you can do so independently or with the original supplier, Resort Hoppa (http://www.resorthoppa.com) who may have already contacted you directly. Resort Hoppa have made available a 30% discount voucher code to customers who have been failed by lowcostholidays and you can use the voucher on their website: Voucher code number: LC30.
You can download a full copy of your Covermore travel insurance policy from (http://mmb.lowcostholidays.com). If you have purchased other travel insurance you will need to check with the provider if your policy provides cover against travel agency insolvency.
If you require a new reservation, you will need to make a new booking, either independently or through the original supplier, APH (http://www.aph.com)
There are various ways in which you can pursue a claim to try and recover the costs of the holiday components booked via the lowcostholidays.com website which are no longer valid. However, the administrators can neither recommend, nor confirm which is the best approach for you, nor can we guarantee that your claim(s) will be successful. The potential claim options are listed below:
It is highly likely that you will be able to make a claim for non-delivered services direct to your credit card provider / bank. You do not therefore need to lodge a separate claim with the administrator.
We regret that, the administrators are unable to answer queries about individual bookings due to the fact the company has ceased to trade and the very large volume of reservations concerned. It is because of the large number of bookings that information is being made available via this website which is being regularly updated with the latest developments.
